Mozart’s Grand Opera Don Juan

Scarce 1833 handbill advertising Don Juan to be performed at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, London, conducted by Henry Rowley Bishop. In 1842 Bishop became the first musician to be knighted in England. Bishop worked for all the major theatres of London in his era, and was a Professor of Music at Oxford University.

Other performances include a “Fairy Ballet” based on the “English Legendary Tale,”  The Sleeping Beauty.

Single sheet measures 13×8 inches. One small tear at top left margin, some toning at edges, still, very good.

Would make a wonderful display for any lover of the performing arts.
