“Texian Campaigne” Fruit Dish by James Beech Circa 1837 -1844 

“Texian Campaigne” Series Black Transfer-printed Fruit Dish made in England by James Beech for the American market. Signed “J.B.” on bottom. Rare form.

This series was inspired by the Texas Revolution of 1835-36, which included the legendary Battle of the Alamo. Dish measures approx. 14” x 11” x 4.”

Condition: very good, with some small firing flaws and minor scratching to transfers. No repairs.
