The IWW was founded in Chicago in 1905 by anarchists, Marxists, socialists  and members of radical trade unions. IWW’s founders included William D. Haywood,  Eugene V. Debs, and Mary Harris Jones (“Mother Jones”). Unfortunately, bad ideas never die!
